Google is officially moving games on Android Auto and Android Automotive OS out of beta and into general availability.
That means developers can now publish compatible games through Google Play’s open testing and production tracks, opening the door to a much larger selection of games for car screens.

🔹 Touch controls are supported, with some games also supporting controllers
🔹 Android Auto requires Android 15 or newer for in-car games
🔹 Developers must make their games compatible with car displays and meet Google’s requirements
🔹 Games are blocked while driving for safety
⏳ The feature is designed for those moments when your car is parked — like waiting while your EV charges, sitting in a parking lot, or waiting for a pickup order.
Google is also asking developers to make games resume their previous state and adapt properly to different vehicle displays.
